A Kallenberg Portrait from Alaska

July 24th, 2025

We’re in Bristol Bay!

A perfect summer day in Alaska with my husband Arron (WAC founder + CEO).

Though the summer sockeye runs are drawing to a close, Arron and I still have a lot to do. For the remainder of July, we’ll be busy in Bristol Bay.

Since we’ll be out of the office, I’ll be revisiting some of my all-time favorite Anchor Points newsletters from over the years (and maybe stop in to share some reflections on how it feels to turn 50!). I’ve handpicked a few that I think will give you a little more insight into who Arron and I are — a way to introduce ourselves, if you’re relatively new to this fish family, and perhaps a reintroduction to those of you who’ve been here with us for a while.

I truly hope you enjoy our dive back into the Anchor Points archives while Arron and I are out. Until then… see you on the other side summer!

Live Wild,

Monica
