We’re Busy Creating Shared Experiences in Alaska

July 23rd, 2026

Plus, a Little Favor to Ask of You, Dear Members

This week, my husband Arron (WAC founder + CEO) and I are busy hosting, bonding, and facilitating ways to create shared experiences with the WAC team at the company’s semi-annual gathering in Homer, Alaska. Creating shared experiences is one of WAC’s foundational values, and gatherings like this one allow us to truly bring that value to life.

Breaking bread with one other at a feast. Spotting wildlife on a hike. Simply chatting over a cup of strong coffee. We are doing all of that and more — and needless to say, we are relishing this incredible opportunity to create shared experiences with each other, just as the summer salmon season winds down.

So I’ll keep this week’s missive to you brief, simply to share a little celebratory note with you: For the fourth year in a row, Wild Alaskan Company has been nominated by USA TODAY for their 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Meat Delivery Service.

You can vote once per day through August 17 using the link here. We are truly so grateful that you have chosen to be part of the Wild Alaskan Company community, and would be deeply honored to have your support.

Live Wild!

P.S. Given that much of the team is on a team retreat in Alaska, the Member Experience team won’t be providing phone or chat support — through Wednesday, July 29. We are responding to emails, though our response times will be longer than usual. The best way to get in touch with us is to visit our Contact Page. Also, make sure to check out our Help Center, where you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions. We thank you all for your patience.
